Unit 4 Discussion Questions

(Discussion questions are designed to be discussed before watching the video)

Week 1

• What do we need to be saved from?
• In one sentence - how does Jesus save us?
• Try to define these words:

A) Substitutionary atonement

B) Propitiation

Week 2

• Say a person knows that they have sinned, and they know that Christ has come and died in their place - now what? What do they need to do to get saved? Simple enough right? (Take a moment to write out your answer)
• After watching the video answer this question: "Could I have answered this more accurately?"

Week 3

• Find in your Bible a couple of verses that teach that God chooses those He will save.
• Find a couple of verses in your Bible that teach that in order to be saved, a person must choose to believe.

Week 4

• What does it mean to be justified?
• What does it mean to be regenerated?

Week 5

• What do you think the Bible means when it says a believer is redeemed?
• What do you think the Bible means when it says a believer is reconciled?
• What do you think the BIble means when it says a believer is adopted?

Week 6

• What is God's goal for a Christian, and how do we get there?
• Can you find any verses to support your answer?
